How to prepare and submit a manuscript to a Frontiers journal.
Before you submit
Confirm that your work fits the scope of the journal you are targeting and that it has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
Manuscript preparation
- Title, abstract (up to 350 words) and 3 to 8 keywords
- Structured sections: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion
- Declarations: funding, conflicts of interest, data availability and ethics approval
- References in a consistent author-year or numbered style
Files
Upload the main manuscript as PDF or Word. Figures, tables, datasets and other supplementary material can be added as additional files.
After submission
Track the status of every manuscript and read editorial correspondence from My account → My submissions.
