The standards we expect from authors, editors and reviewers.

Frontiers expects every participant in the publishing process to act honestly, transparently and responsibly.

Authors

Authors must submit original work, acknowledge all sources, list everyone who made a substantial contribution, and disclose interests that could influence the work.

Editors and reviewers

Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts on their merits, keep them confidential, and declare competing interests.

Handling concerns

Concerns about a submission or a published article can be sent to the editorial office. Every concern is investigated, and the outcome is documented.
