Case Reports in Thrombosis: 2026

This Research Topic is the fifth volume of Case Reports in Thrombosis, following the previous successful editions from 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The collection aims to showcase high-quality case reports that advance our understanding of thrombosis through the documentation of unique, rare, or instructive clinical scenarios.We welcome submissions presenting valuable insights into the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of thrombotic disorders — ranging from venous thromboembolism and arterial thrombosis to thrombophilias, thrombotic complications of systemic diseases, and emerging therapeutics. Reports emphasizing novel diagnostic challenges, unexpected treatment responses, and lessons learned from clinical practice are particularly encouraged.Eligible submissions include:1. Rare cases with typical features that highlight important diagnostic or therapeutic aspects.2. Common cases with atypical presentations that expand current clinical understanding.3. Cases demonstrating compelling responses to new or off-label treatments, shedding light on innovative strategies and decision-making in thrombosis care.All case reports will be personally assessed by senior Associate Editors prior to peer review to ensure quality and scientific relevance.
