Clinical Consensus in Rhinology: Advanced Frameworks for Standardizing Sinonasal Diagnostics and Disease Management

As clinical consensus guidelines increasingly shape rhinological practice, addressing underlying methodological and reporting inconsistencies is a critical step in translating consensus into personalized patient care. This Research Topic provides a dedicated, interdisciplinary venue for researchers to address diagnostic and therapeutic gaps in the management of complex inflammatory and infectious sinonasal diseases. We welcome submissions focusing on advanced diagnostic techniques, standardization of clinical frameworks, and modern clinical criteria for complex or borderline conditions, such as noninvasive mycoses, chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) endotypes, odontogenic complications, and sinonasal neoplasms.Key Themes: • Standardized diagnostic frameworks and clinical pathways for inflammatory sinonasal disease.• Advanced imaging and novel diagnostic techniques in complex infections (e.g., noninvasive mycoses).• Interdisciplinary approaches to odontogenic complications and sinonasal comorbidities.• Biomarker-guided diagnostic criteria and molecular profiling in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS).• Methodological approaches to establishing clinical consensus guidelines in rhinology.• Guideline-based tailored approach to the patient.
