Data-Informed Nutrition Technologies for Sustainable Animal Production
Current scientific research is focused on finding new technologies for sustainable agricultural production. Options have been developed to predict conditions or diseases based on behaviour and data. Telemetry in agricultural output works as a tool that generates real-time information and, with the help of artificial intelligence, enables real-time decision-making. Furthermore, microencapsulation improves the efficiency of feeding programmes for ruminants and monogastric animals, while also helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The goals of this Research Topic are to:-Gather critical insights to enhance animal productivity through a minimally invasive, innovative approach via telemetry, artificial intelligence, and new technologies.-Determine the effects of telemetry, artificial intelligence, and microencapsulation on the welfare, parasites, and microbiome of ruminant and non-ruminant animalsSubmissions focused on the following themes are encouraged:-Telemetry in ruminant and non-ruminant animals-Reduction of methane emissions, ammonia and hydrogen sulphide-Livestock precision-Implementation of AI on livestock-Microbiome of animalsTypes of manuscripts: Original research, review, systematic reviews, case report and clinical trial.
