Educators in the Digital Age: The Role of Technology, Pedagogy, and Social Factors in Online Learning
Digital transformation in education is changing the role of educators, the nature of student engagement, and the quality of instruction, particularly within virtual and hybrid environments. With advancements in technology such as artificial intelligence, educational software, and learning analytics, the educational landscape is undergoing major changes. These changes are influencing not only how and what we learn but also who teaches, how they teach, and the competencies required. In this changing context, educators' roles extend beyond merely transmitting knowledge to becoming mentors, support systems, and guides in the digital age.
