The rapid growth of wind power generation is transforming modern power systems into converter-dominated, low-inertia networks with high renewable penetration and increasingly complex dynamic interactions between generation units and the grid. These characteristics introduce significant challenges for the modeling, stability analysis, and control design of wind-energy-integrated power systems, including weak-grid interactions, synchronization dynamics, multi-timescale coupling, oscillation risks, and power quality degradation.Addressing these challenges requires advanced modeling and control frameworks that can improve the reliability, stability, and flexibility of grids with high wind power penetration, and support coordinated operation among wind turbines, wind farms, energy storage systems, and the wider power network.This Research Topic invites original research and review articles addressing the modeling, stability, and advanced control of grid-integrated wind energy systems.
