Immune-genetic dynamics in disease progression and therapeutic strategies: Volume II

Immunological microcosms and genetic changes are central to understanding the mechanisms that drive disease progression and response to treatments. Research has established that immune-mediated microcosms, which include complex interactions within the immune system, play pivotal roles in maintaining homeostasis and therapeutic efficacy. Advances in understanding how these microcosms interact with genetic modifications have shown significant implications for disease diagnosis, progression, and management in conditions such as inflammatory diseases, neurologic disorders, and cancers. Emerging evidence suggests that deviations in immune microcosms are directly linked to disease states and bear potential for developing novel therapeutic approaches. This Research Topic aims to delve into the complex interactions between genetic modifications and immune-mediated microcosms and their collective impact on disease progression and rehabilitation. The objective is to elucidate how genetic changes influence immune behaviors and contribute to the development or suppression of diseases. Through exploring emerging patterns of gene regulation and their effects on the immune landscape of diseases, this topic seeks to advance personalized medicine approaches, focusing on tailored diagnosis and treatment strategies that accommodate individual genetic and immune profiles. To gather further insights in this intricate field, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:- Novel biomarkers characterizing immune-mediated microcosms.- Effects of methylation, lactylation, and succinylation on immunotherapy outcomes.- Identification of potential targets that influence disease progression.- Analysis of changes in immune-mediated microcosms during disease recovery.- Dysregulation of immune-mediated microcosms and subsequent effects on immune responses.- Differential metabolic profiles of immune molecules throughout disease progression and rehabilitation. We encourage the submission of original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and meta-analyses. Note that manuscripts focusing on bioinformatics or transcriptomic analyses without clinical, in vitro, or in vivo validation will not be considered for this Research Topic. This Research Topic is the second volume of the Immune-genetic dynamics in disease progression and therapeutic strategies.
