Mobile Health – Intelligent Monitoring and Clinical Integration for Personalized Digital Care
Advances in mobile and digital health technologies now enable ubiquitous, continuous monitoring of physiological and behavioral data at an unprecedented scale. This capability is a key enabler of the shift from centralized, episodic care toward distributed and pervasive healthcare models that capture health status in real-world settings. By extending observation beyond clinical facilities, these technologies open new opportunities for more personalized, context-aware, and proactive care. The goal of this Research Topic is to bring together recent advances in wearable and mobile health technologies that enable intelligent, continuous health monitoring and personalized care. It aims to showcase methods and applications that combine sensing, data analytics, and clinical integration to transform real-world health data into actionable clinical insights. Emphasis is placed on solutions that bridge wearable and mobile platforms with healthcare systems to support personalized, scalable digital care.Suitable themes for manuscripts include (but are not limited to):• Wearable and mobile sensing technologies for continuous health monitoring;• Applications of wearable and mobile health technologies in prevention, diagnosis, and disease management;• Personalized health monitoring and adaptive digital care systems;• Clinical Integration of wearable and mobile health data into decision support systems;• Validation, reliability, and clinical impact of wearable and mobile health applications;• Privacy, security, and ethical aspects of wearable and mobile health systems.
