Response Theory and Anomalous Phenomena
Particle dynamics encompass a broad spectrum of physical phenomena, which poses serious challenge for the development of a unified theory of nonequilibrium systems. Nevertheless, a coherent structure is gradually emerging, supported by several key milestones such as fluctuation relations and response theory for dissipative systems, investigated in both deterministic and stochastic frameworks. In this Research Topic we focus on rigorous results in the areas of Response Theory and Anomalous Transport, both of which have significant interdisciplinary impact. The Research Topic aims to shed light on recent advances in the emerging theory of nonequilibrium processes, with a particular focus on the latest rigorous results in the framework of Exact Response Theory and anomalous transport phenomena. The Research Topic focuses on a broad variety of topics including, but not restricted to, the following ones: -response theory, -anomalous transport,-oscillator chains, -model reduction methods, -nonequilibrium thermodynamics, -interacting particle systems.
