Reviews in Floriculture and Landscapes
Frontiers in Horticulture is delighted to present the 'Reviews in' series of Research Topics. 'Reviews in' is a series being launched across Frontiers in Horticulture's sections which aims to publish high-quality review articles on key topics within the field. The goal of this series is to highlight recent advances across horticultural disciplines, whilst emphasising important directions and new possibilities for future inquiry. We anticipate the research presented will promote discussion within the broader horticulture community and translate to best practice applications in research, industry, and policy settings. The Floriculture and Landscapes section covers the production, management, and environmental role of ornamental plants, flowers, trees, and green infrastructure, spanning floriculture, landscaping, arboriculture, urban forestry, and plant nursery systems. As cities grow and face mounting pressures from climate change, biodiversity loss, and the need for sustainable green spaces, the demand for rigorous, synthesised knowledge in this area has never been greater. Reviews in Floriculture and Landscapes brings together high-quality scholarly review articles that map the current state of the science, identify critical knowledge gaps, and chart directions for advancing innovative and sustainable approaches in ornamental and environmental horticulture. The Reviews in Floriculture and Landscapes collection welcomes Review, Mini-Review, and Systematic Review articles on topics within the scope of the Floriculture and Landscapes section.
