Correction: Quantum phenomena in biological systems

Affiliation “IDOR Pioneer Science Initiative, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil” was omitted for author Pedro H. Alvarez. This affiliation has now been added for author Pedro H. Alvarez.

In the published article, there was an error. A wrong citation was attributed to part of the text.

A correction has been made to Section 5 Quantum effects in neural processes, Paragraph 6. This sentence previously stated:

“In a recent article (Deviers et al., 2022), explore the surprising light-harvesting properties of microtubules”.

The corrected sentence appears below:

“In a recent article (Babcock et al., 2024), explore the surprising light-harvesting properties of microtubules”.

The original article has been updated.
