Frontiers in Acoustics publishes multidisciplinary research on the theory, modeling, measurement, and application of sound and acoustic phenomena. Its scope includes acoustic materials, metamaterials and metasurfaces, noise mitigation, sound perception, acoustofluidics, ultrasound technologies, medical imaging, and non-destructive testing. Submissions should demonstrate scientific rigor, reproducibility, and a clear contribution to acoustics.
To advance scientific knowledge in acoustics; encourage innovative theoretical, computational, experimental, and applied research; promote rigorous and reproducible scientific practices; and foster interdisciplinary collaboration to address emerging challenges in sound, materials, engineering, and ultrasound technologies.
