The journal covers theoretical, computational, experimental, and applied research in antennas and propagation technologies. Its scope includes antenna array design, MIMO systems, beamforming, electromagnetic modeling, metamaterial antennas, signal propagation, channel estimation, embedded and wearable antennas, implantable antennas, wireless communication systems, radio-frequency identification, near-field communications, wireless power transfer, and antenna applications in terrestrial, vehicular, and non-terrestrial environments. Research focused solely on general communication or information theory without a specific connection to antennas and propagation may fall outside the journal's scope.
The objectives of Frontiers in Antennas and Propagation are to advance scientific knowledge in antenna engineering and electromagnetic propagation, promote innovation in wireless communication technologies, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, improve antenna performance and propagation modeling, support the development of wearable and implantable communication systems, and facilitate practical applications in wireless sensing, connectivity, and power transfer.
