Frontiers in Epigenetics and Epigenomics is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring the mechanisms governing gene expression regulation independent of changes in the primary DNA sequence.

About the journal

Scope

The scope encompasses molecular mechanisms of epigenetic control, computational epigenomics, epigenome-wide association studies (EWAS), transgenerational epigenetic inheritance, cancer epigenetics, neuroepigenetics, environmental exposure impacts, synthetic epigenetics, and therapeutic targeting of epigenetic modifiers.

Aims

To advance the understanding of epigenetic regulation across developmental biology, human disease, and evolutionary biology by providing an open-access global platform for geneticists, molecular biologists, and bioinformaticians.
